Why We Chose This Film
1917 tells the story of two British soldiers who must deliver a message amidst WWI to warn their troops of an ambush. As previously done by Bird man, the film is done so that it looks like one continuous shot, giving the feel of constant endangerment.
This movie is a technical achievement. Production and costume design are also amazing. Although characterization is not the strong side of the film, it doesn’t need to be, it always feels griping and tense. Definitely worth your time.
